TERMS & CONDITIONS
COMPENSATION FOR EXPENSES
I invoice my services in advance based on an hourly rate of CHF 60 as compensation for effort. The total cost is calculated based on the estimated time required. The offer includes a retainer for ongoing services as well as a separate agreement for additional hours exceeding the agreed scope.
HOURLY RATE
For other unplanned projects and activities, an hourly rate of CHF 60 is charged. The scope and budget are agreed upon between the freelancer and the client prior to the assignment and invoicing.
TRAVEL EXPENSES
For photography and videography assignments as well as other on-site work, additional travel expenses are charged at CHF 0.60 per kilometre for travel, as well as any parking fees and meals (lunch and dinner). The flat rate for on-site assignments is CHF 500 per day.
KPI'S
Appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives can be defined by mutual agreement. These targets may be reviewed and renewed on a monthly basis.
REPORTING
The freelancer provides regular status updates on completed activities and project progress. Relevant statistics are also shared. Lika Curls may request specific metrics or insights at any time and may arrange a phone call or video conference to discuss the current status and next steps. In-person meetings are billed at an hourly rate of CHF 60 per hour, plus travel expenses of CHF 0.60 per kilometre.
CONTENT APPROVAL
The approval and publication of the website shall be carried out in coordination with the client and will only go live after full approval has been granted. Regarding the publication of social media and advertising content, the freelancer reserves the right to approve content independently — always in the best interest of the client. If any published content does not meet the client’s expectations, Lika Curls will inform the freelancer within a reasonable timeframe. The freelancer will then refrain from publishing similar content in the future.
INVOICING
The client will be invoiced for services in advance, with a payment term of 10 days. If the payment deadline is not met, the freelancer reserves the right to suspend further activities and services until payment has been received.
The client and the freelancer shall treat all non-public information relating to the other party, including the terms of this agreement, as strictly confidential. Each party may use such information solely for the purpose of fulfilling its obligations under this agreement. This obligation shall remain in effect even after the expiration or early termination of this agreement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The freelancer cannot be held liable for any damages incurred by the client and cannot be sued or held responsible for published content. If the website or social media accounts are suspended, this shall not be the responsibility of the freelancer. The freelancer will do their best to prevent such occurrences and, in the event of a suspension, will assist in communication between the platform or the relevant parties. Furthermore, the freelancer cannot be held liable for unmet expectations or objectives.
